This side table draws inspiration from the elegant craftsmanship of traditional timber architecture, integrating curved elements to soften its lines. The structural beauty is subtly concealed beneath the tabletop, inviting users to discover its refined details in unexpected moments. Through this interplay of form and hidden craftsmanship, the design balances tradition with a contemporary aesthetic, offering a piece that is both functional and poetic in everyday life.
The form suspends a delicate tension between volume and void, hovering the weight through traditional joinery. A central gap cleaves the mass, drawing the visual focus downward to the cross-shaped joint below.
